 The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) is a professional, non-profit organization representing national, state, city and local public health laboratories on issues of public health importance. APHL is dedicated to protecting and preserving the health of the nation, and to promoting technology transfer in laboratory practices in order to fulfill the vision of a "healthier world through quality laboratory practice". APHL is working collaboratively with the National Center for Environmental Health at CDC to promote environmental health position vacancies in public health laboratories throughout the nation.
